The warranty period for 3M Scotchshield Ultra security film typically ranges from 10 to 15 years, depending on the specific application and product variant selected.
This extended coverage offers several benefits to property owners:
- Long-Term Value: The multi-year warranty underscores the durability of the investment and reduces the likelihood of needing a premature replacement.
- Lifecycle Cost Reduction: By providing a reliable, enduring solution, the warranty helps turn the initial installation cost into a cost-effective, long-term commitment to security.
- Performance Assurance: When the film is installed by professionals according to manufacturer guidelines and ASTM standards, the warranty ensures the system remains a valid and backed security solution.
To maintain the integrity of the film and ensure it lasts for its full rated lifespan, it is recommended to clean it using only mild soap and water with a non-abrasive cloth, avoiding ammonia-based cleaners that can degrade the surface.
